Feeling Plaid

Someone I know had on a cute flannel shirt in yellow, white, black, gray, and turquoise plaid. I liked the colors so much I thought I'd use them on a journal page.

Of course it is also a leftover page so the stamping is under the yellow paint.

This is the stencil I used to make the plaid- a leftover from scrapbooking days.

You'll see more of this on other pages as a leftover. After I used each color of paint, instead of cleaning the stencil I just turn a few pages, put the stencil in and then press the pages together. Most of the paint comes off on that page and I can switch to another color. Saves me time and doesn't waste paint! Plus I have a start to another page in the future.
