Another bathing beauty- the last of summer. I like this stencil because it is easy to work with and looks cool. I scraped pink on the page and dabbed yellow and orange with the stencil. Then I attached the beauty and used my perma pen to doodle the birds. I also like to use a charcoal pencil around my images.
This page started with scraping left over paint from other pages, pressing a stencil's leftover pain, etc. The image is from Terri at Pringle Hill Studio- love it! I also stenciled one flower and a little extra punchnella for some added color. This picture makes me smile :)

  1. These look great. I like scraping leftover paint onto a page, and also the used stencil with leftover residue. They both give such interesting backgrounds to work from.

  2. Love it! On your little girl with the flute - it seems as if the music is floating up where the green circles and yellow are "bursting". It makes perfect sense in my head - hope I've explained it well enough...
